Slight correction: The Roborock vacuums can work with Alexa to do room specific cleaning using the Roborock app and Roborock skill. The correct verbiage for cleaning a specific room is "Alexa, Ask roborock to clean the {room name}".
Thanks for the detailed review.
DAMN YOU!! The Ecovac T20 Suuuuuckkkkss! It's the dumbest vacuum ever. It's a fucking idiot!
Fantastic review. I really appreciate your work.
I have the ecovac n8 pro +, but it died. Overall, it was pretty good but was bad at the pet hair. It withe vac up the hair well, but it wouldn't empty the hair into the bin, so I'd rather just upgrade
What's the best options for long pet hair? I have a golden retriever and sheds like crazy. That is my priority. I have tile and a few rugs. No carpet. I don't care it it doesn't go on the rugs i can manually vac those (although, if it can vac the rugs that's a plus. And a mop is cool but the hair is what drives me crazy)
Send me your top 3 vacs you'd recommend for my needs pleaseeeeee I'd prefer not to spend a fortune unless it's really good.
The ecovac I bought in oct.21' and had to send it out once for repair and how the same issue arose. Doesn't have great longevity. 2 years and done. Spent about $600 ot so on that one. I like to run at least 1-2 times a day
Wow the Lefant sucks big time… But at the same time it doesn't 🙁
is the dreametech not being sold anymore or do you think it’s just out of stock? it’s not available on the official store on amazon.
God I am so happy you said there's no sponsors in this video. I have been trying to research but every review i've seen so far has "this video was sponsored by (xyz)." It just completely invalidates the review. They really talk up the specs of their sponsored robot and never tlak about downsides. Thanks for staying credible.
Regarding smart home control, don’t forget that iRobot has direct integration with August Smart Locks, MyQ garage doors, Yonomi Smart Lights (can turn on the lights when it enters a room because it’s vSLAM system requires light), and it works with IFTTT.
Extremely well done 👍🏼
Hey I have an odd question… I’m having to replace my robot vacuum and would like to place the new one in a different location… inside a a cabinet with the kick plate/bottom trim removed so it can drive inside. Have you had any issues with your robots being set close to one another and getting “lost” or unable to find their charging dock? I have read that most of the manufacturers recommended lots of room on either side of the charging dock but on other channels they seem to have them all pretty much next to each other. Does it seem like having the dock in a cabinet with a few inches on either side will be enough room?
okay but which is the best mop ? narwhal freo or braava jet m6 ? 🤔
Are Bobsweep vacs low tier and not worth considering?
Hi! Firstly what an amazing review thanks. I will use one of your amazon links to purchase.
What would you recommend for me:
I have Roomba i7 hoover, very happy with it, im just looking for a robot mop now.
No pets.
All tiles/wooden floors (no carpet).
Need to have app scheduling (echo a plus).
AI to avoid stuff.
Smells nice.
Easily cleans.
Tank empty – no shorter than 1week.
Thanks
What about legee d8?
Can you review robot window cleaners? 😎
for real i love you
Wow! What a review! You are like a MrBeast in vacuum industry😎
😛
This is TRULY the most thorough & detailed robot vacuum video EVEEEER! Thank you for making all the tests realistic to what most people want their vacuums to do, instead of picking up eggshells and macaroni from the ground 😅 you have sold me on the dream tech! I had a roomba sJ7+ and I hated it so much I returned it and that’s how I landed on your channel, trying to find the best mopping robot vacuum for homes with carpet & hardwood floor AND pets 😊
Awesome video. Very informational and helpful thank you for the time and effort that went into this. Looks like I'll be getting the roborock as being able to clean up hair well on hard floor is important for me. Although mopping isn't as great we don't wear shoes in the house so it should be fine if mopping capability is lower. I'm curious though about how well the robots perform in cleaning grout lines if you can test that in a future video it would be great!
Thank you
Great comparison for these robot combo units. You have narrowed down my choices to Narwal & dreamtech. Only concern is both those used cleaning solutions and the others just used water (water would be my preference) did you test either of these using just water for a cleaning comparison?
Great review, thank you so much for doing it!! I bought the Roborock Q Revo on Prime day and it's really a game changer for me! I have 3 cats and have it set up to clean the house at night except my room. Love waking up to squeaky clean floors!! The only issue is it's not automatically emptying the dust bin once finished cleaning. I've tried looking at the options but haven't found a setting. tried a manual start and it worked fine, just not working for the scheduled cleaning. Any thoughts?
Long hair tangling, big thing, big design fault in the history of vacuuming😂😂😂😂
It's always better to have a dedicated to the function. A vacuum and separate mop robot. Currently only iLife makes a proper hard floor mop with a seperate clean a dirty water tank on board. Rubbing a wet microfiber cloth on the floor just spreads the mess.
Purchased the Dreametech L10s Ultra Robot Vacuum and after 40 days it started having major issues. I contacted Dreametech which I think is partnered with Xiaomi. To be honest I would have never purchased this machine. When moping and going over carpet the mop heads do not raise far enough even with a short pile carpet. That’s makes for a very wet carpet. Suction is better in my older Dreame robot, yes I have an older one with it’s set of issues. I am not a fan of Dreametech and cannot recommend it. Also customer service is horrible. They don’t really care and help takes way to long! Get anything but Dreametech!
no xiaomi vacuum?!
Hi, any insight on the DreameBot L20 Ultra and if it will be released in the US. Also, will you run these tests with that device to compare?
Perfect review
just want to add that many of these models might not be available in someones country. Here in Mexico I cannot find most and if so they are way overpriced.
Who in the hell would spend that much on an auto sweeper/moper just do it yourself… Lord our society has gotten extremely lazy!
Philips has a new one! The Philips HomeRun 7000 Series. Have you tried that one yet?
Can you comment on the noise level of your recommendations?
Great review! Thanks for what you doing!
Lefant really charging top dollar for not doing anything properly 😂
Just some feedback for you guys – my experience with ecovacs deebot has been poor. They tend to break down after a year when the warranty lapses "/ especially the wheels. It costs about another US150 to repair its wheels. And there is no guarantee it won't happen again. This issue is not isolated I reckon as I've seen several people enquiring about this on social media. Just a heads up…
Thank you for the video. I'm learning English and it's easy for me to understand your pronunciation and diction. This video is useless to me because I can't buy anything on Amazon and I've had the Roborock s6V for 4 years now.
The hair replacement test was the worst yet the most important… I acknowledge it is hard to replicate
This was so helpful, thank you!
FANTASTIC review/comparison! Thanks for it. At 19:13 you say that 6 of the models have full Home Assistant integration and you discuss 5 of them – what about the Dreametech L10s? I looked at using Valetudo to use the Dreametech locally via Home Assistant while also preventing it from communicating with the vendor's cloud, but it looks too complex for me. Does the Dreametech L10s have built-in full Home Assistant integration where I don't have to root the vacuum?
