there are voice actors and text to voice apps for this sorta thing
Until the laser points at humans.
Symbol of the Carbon Robotics Company to be able to invest in the stock market. In which Exchanged you can invest in Carbon Robotitcs and under which ticket symbol .Gracias
Let me know when this is on every farm in the US (at the least). This covers the herbicide, then we need the pesticide aspect covered by laser kill too. Then, when we're not using herbicides and pesticides, health can abound when we eat fruits and vegetables.
Looks fantastic. I will recommend that. does anyone know: Which camera / sensor is used? RGB, multispectral, hyperspectral? Eeventuel the brand?
I would be grateful for any answer
How far off is this to becoming a realistic thing farmers can use? I grow onions on hills it would be great if I could have robots taking the weeds out and would eliminate chemical use
I just don`t get why it is Diesel powered… You have a 74 hp diesel engine onboard, so 54 kW. With a regular efficiency of a diesel engine of around 40% you would need an electric motor with around 20 kW to power this weeder. Combine that with the 8 lasers of 150 W (so 1.2 kW in total) and some computational energy needs you will end up well below 30 kW and therefore a need of 30 kWh per hour of working time. So with a regular tesla battery, you will already have more than enough power to keep it running for 4 hours, so 2 batteries are enough to keep it going for a full work shift of 8 hours. Why even bother with fuel then? You are speaking of "healthiness" and "less impact on the fields and crops" but keep on burning stuff right above our food?
You should reconsider that!
must've been fun to develope and work on! good one!
the problem I see with this is potential abuse by suscription. I hope it will be a one-time purchase otherwise you're screwed.
laser weeding?
I want to become the Tony Stark of farming now.
I'm a farmer, and first this look expensive, second it looks really slow, and third it cant work on a lot of culture (for exemple, I do cherry, how is it supposed to pass around the tree ?)
And not the last, the water system could be in the middle / damaged way too easily..
But i would prefere this than doing it myself, if it was a perfect machine.
Great work anyway, awesome !
If you pause at 1:11 the plate says "2Fast4U"
Price?
I love this but its to slow. Im sure they will improve it eventually
Might kill some weeds but not all weeds. Some varieties of weeds needed to o be killed at the root.
Effects on soil ? Natural farming?
Can this sort of method be used on slopes or only flat ground? Be an interesting method on Qld coal mine rehab if it has some versatility
Wow…that looks so awesome!
May God bless you all. Thanks for sharing
Look how slow it drives, would take a month or more to do that field.
looks good for use before planting. What about maintaining a growing crop? All the videos show work on a young crop.
Now for the real question … How much?
Finally, some technology that can be used for good and not war
Are you a publicly traded company? If so what is the ticker?
We must get rid of the poisons too many diseases have been witnessed since the birth of GMOs, glyphosate and it is making too many adults and kids sick with long term illnesses.
God be blessed for this wonderful innovation. Here’s to clean food and soil! Praise the Almighty and His children who have decided to have faith, hope, courage, love, strength, work ethic, intelligence, and innovation. I see a bright future for all beings on Earth.
