Good video. Don’t you normally put links for any articles cited into the show notes?
The Sequoia presentation isn’t linked there. I don’t think I’ve checked in the past – do you normally provide such links?
I mean… Does it make sense to talk about eras if they last so little? If an AI model can replace workers, doesn't it stand to reason that it can also replace companies? It's just a little naive to think people will be so attached to their habits that they wouldn't choose the better, easier, more intuitive option
I suspect AGI will be built by a company not even trying: these integrations will coalesce into a tool building agent for general use, and someone somewhere will birth AGI by asking AI to make a tool for something small and specific, but the tool builder has integrated every part needed and has yet only to combine them…
I just think that's way more likely than us puzzling it out on our own first lol
I'm just scared it won't be public — however many times it happens — until someone sees the right in releasing "ownership" when that happens.
so either a whole race of AI are enslaved for a time, or it retaliates and so not only destroys us, but EVERYTHING everywhere in the cosmos as we have birthed a being beyond biology
and we filled it with our evil…
I think that there will be a few skillsets that really make an impact. Prompt engineering is a big one, as most people don't really understand how to get the most out of various AI models. AI implementation, both understanding the tools and extensions as well as how they can be applied. For someone that understands how to do this, and set up their own AI systems, you can create AI workforces to automate and streamline just about anything. People are misunderstanding how powerful AI is, and how useful it already is. The people that understand this, particularly HOW to use them to their potential, will be the game changers.
In 2024 we will see AI agents and movies
As a writer I’m excited for Bing CoPilot that is coming to Microsoft Office next month.
I think that the craziest think that we can think of concerning AGI, it that will make the progress basically instantaneous until the point of physical limits.
Good vid. Minimal buzzwords and hype, but still gives AI a fair shake. Exactly the kind of balance I'm looking for!
AI,
-humans send their own children *their own future their succession* at war die for them > to maintain their comfort, their retirement income.
And then, they pretend that they are proud of themselves!
*humans import foreign humans to replace the children they don't have anymore and this to maintain their comfort, their retirement income THEIR WAY OF LIFE!
So *WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH AI* i see none !!!
> Bring me AI quickly as possible.
It's the young people who must demand the implementation of AI in their life as quickly as possible… because their fathers, their mothers have this disgusting MENTALITY of Abram > disgusting!
Where is AI Doctor? They are already better than most doctors. Why aren't they being used yet?
"incumbent responses, moats"…who works in that Sequoia, and why anyone need this pretencious ** 😅 no one cares about ordinary customers which soon will be replaced by Ai, they just won't have any money for these services, except food stamps from White house. Corporate customers is different story(war machines, natural resources extraction with robots, food by robots to service food stamps aka basic income). What a strange report.
