Good for your guiding these young men into things that can help them keep our industry strong. I am ordering a 440 within the next month or so. I have a design consulting and prototype business with 30 years of mechanical design experience in Solidworks design including finite analysis, and other tools. My machining past combined with my purchase of a brand spankin new 440 to start, may help me into my retirement years. I know that the venders and people I've worked with in the past years will need some assistance now and then. This machine is PERFECT. Not kissing tookiss, just happy my wife will let me buy one.
we purchased a 770 for this purpose but found the interface ability was limited. ended up shelving the idea unfortunately.
