Claire chatted to Sara Bernardini from Royal Holloway College of London all about decision-making, reconfigurable robots, and oceanography.
Sara Bernardini is a Professor of AI at Royal Holloway College of London, the Principal Analysis Scientist in AI and Knowledge Science on the Nationwide Oceanography Centre and a Fellow on the Alan Turing Institute. Her analysis in decision-making for autonomous methods lies on the intersection of AI, cognitive robotics, and mathematical optimisation. Most of her work focuses on planning for single-agent and multi-agent methods to allow them to behave intelligently in actual time regardless of useful resource and environmental constraints, noisy or defective sensors, imperfect talents and excessive circumstances.
