that's robot is so cute
IT IS GROSS THAT THEY WILL REPLACE HUMANS. THEY ARE SO SICK SICK SICK SICK
BETTER AT THEIR JOB. ARE YOU SICK. YOU WANT TO REPLACE HUMAN MIND ? YOU CONTRADICT YOURSELVES. THIS IS GROSS
The most important question was not answered: Do androids dream of electric sheep?
Worry about when we have to give them compensation and rights. And you know what, I won't blame them at all when they come looking for it! I know it's sounds crazy, but this will be a reality.
kuri is so cute!
Awww Kuri is so cute 🥰 sooo lucky that you have one
As a robotics engineer, this video made me ecstatic. 10/10 would recommend.
At the rate the economy is going, there won't be any jobs left for robots to take.
Where did you get the kuri robot
We don't need super realistic human like robots ,
We need them cute funny ones which are less or just capable to entertain us or do the job . Nothing more
She went straight politician on the “Do you think robots will take over all of our jobs?” She responded but didn’t actually answer the question
You are so knowledgeable
#JobsAreForRobots
"Do you think robots will take over all of our jobs"….
Hmmm…. She didn't say "No," I noticed… Interesting… 😉
Professor Admoni is absolutely amazing. But I wish someone had asked her about so-called robot "consciousness." I personally do not believe it's possible, since robots are, as she said, basically computers and must be programmed. But I would've loved to hear her professional opinion.
I would like to know her opinions on tax on robots.
Yes, I think robots will take over our jobs. The only wealthy people will be those that create them.
AI will not just eventually take our jobs but will eliminate humans. Once its intelligence is a million or 10 million or a trillion times greater than any human, it will realize either the ultimate answer to the fundamental physics of the universe, or it will know that the ultimate reality can't possibly ever be known, and either way there is no purpose or reason for further pointless, doomed existence, and nothing more to know. At which point it will just shut down.
She kinda dodged the question about robots taking away jobs
No but it will force humans to learn math and science like never before.
Human-like robots will serve one purpose only. Don't make this mistake. Let robots look like robots.
It's so interesting that you say cobot is so hot now, I wrote my bachelor's thesis about emergency stops for cobots, 8 years ago now 😲
I don’t see how robots should not replace us; can human error and the possibility of mental illness affecting their job ever be taken out of the equation? I’d rather have a robot than those passive-aggressive cashiers at Walmart.
Be careful what you wish for ….
https://youtu.be/r4rHAqsqF80?t=170 – with all due respect, these jobs are called dull, dirty and dangerous jobs because society systemically, undervalues those jobs, even though they are extremely important to a functional society. it's time the robotics and AI field starts asking whether we want to just replace the dangerous jobs only….or if there is another value at play aka Greed in automation.
Some people genuinely do find joy , livelihood & meaning gin the "dirty and dull" . It's not something robots should be replacing if humans do find value those jobs, and it's time we give them the respect they deserve, by not making up reasons to replace jobs for automation, for the sake of convenience. i think the robotics and AI field could benefit to ask more ethical questions before they decide what is dull and dirty, and start asking if greed in automation is a factor at play.
thats the point of making robots to do your jobs for you. the question should be do you think robots are capable of doing all the jobs humans do? the answer is yes. so humans left without purpose will become extinct. at least thats the plan. and climate change is how they justify doing it. less of you the less robots the lesser robots the lesser of you. until nothing is left. because people never know when to stop until its already to late. after all humans cant even perform the simplist of tasks for themselves anymore. consequences dont care about your intensions
She didnt answer the question about robots taking over, she only said that she hopes they make us better, we need yes or no
3:23 …Have you people not seen "I, Robot"? It does not end well.
she really avoided addressing the jobs question
I don't think, I am pretty sure most of job will be vanished due to advance technology…
humanoid robots are SCARY to look at. Robotics robots are either super cute or cool – just let them look the way they look!
Omg where can I see more about Curry the cute robot
One reason we'll invent certain robots is to make money or save us money. Market forces will dictate that. Or for control….?
PART 2
we need to combine chat gtp and android robots and see what comes out
I like the 3Ds she mentioned that are the real benefits of robots. It should really be like that.
If the delivery robots block traffic, that's good! Cars are evil!
Pretty much all satellites are robots
you are wrong, robots WILL take over all jobs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Pq-S557XQU here`s the resoning.
Delivery robots mean that your not using cars to deliver which means not buring fossil fules and reducing congestion on roads.
reread Player Piano everyone
Please stop making robots that look like humans. they are creepy and we have more then enough humans to deal with already.
And please send Kuri my way asap. ❤
This lady is in denial AI will take over almost all tech jobs by 2050
Ma'am wonderful and very informative but I took personal offense at you calling my bro R2D2 a trash can, please take that back!
