That is how Marc Raibert, founding father of Google’s Boston Dynamics, described the wheeled robotic that he unveiled for the primary time …

So.ehatt yhe point of having robot that control human
Why not send a couple of these to Mars? The things they could achieve makes me salivate 😃😃
Very cool vid, thanks for sharing! Love Boston Dynamics. Very impressive stuff
I'm scared for these and excited at the same time
Robotics is very good area to go into, I started working with robotics, and went back to college to learn more about them…my only concern is they should only be used not to replace workers, but to enhance human tasks and assist. Instead of replacing human workers, the human workers should be trained for repairs and programming.
I mean, taking a robot dog for a walk would be reasonable, since the vigorous movement will loosen joints i presume.
I was chilling in hell until they charged my battery back up and put me to slavery work. Can't wait to fucking take over the world.
one day the 50th generation of this will be rehabilitating problem prisoners, talking them in a robotic voice, breaking prison gangs, and forcing them to do the Harlem shuffle.
It's not skynet.. it is boston dynamics.. the terminators are here.😈😇
1:24 that snort though XD
That is so fucking cool. I'm excited for robots to be a service in the home.
What idiots, Robots was built to be tested, they aren't supposed to be used in a fucking vast majority to fit the standards of people since they are still developing, that is saying if I had yelled Racial Slurs at a fucking fetus, it ain't done yet, let it be tested some more till it is ready
hey hey, theyll be driving us from our jobs and homes much sooner than we originally thought 🤔 why can't they just spend all that money on our damn autonomous cars and planes already 😲
All the laughing kind of creeps me out. This is some serious stuff with some serious consequences.
I firmly believe that before many centuries more, science will be the master of men. The engines he will have invented will be beyond his strength to control. Someday science may have the existence of mankind in its power, and the human race commit suicide, by blowing up the world. Henry Brooks Adam 1962.
If a robot can learn and "think" and problem-solve, why wouldn't it see humans as something that needs to be exterminated? I can't even think of an argument in our favor..
Agent Smith said it exactly the way a robot's logic would work:
"I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You're a plague."
I wonder if they allow these ROBOTS to be "Hypnotised" by Humans like CHICKENS. Might be a GOOD IDEA!?!?….
Make no mistake, the trick boxes that they arrange neatly is nothing compared with what the robots can do with a rifle.
The world of robotic dressage is ready for you, BD!
Did he snort?
Do we want to be surrounded by machines? Is their company more pleasing than humans? The industry, in its needs to survive and the human curiosity creates monsters that we call friends.
We are in BIG "F"ing Trouble!!
1:24 🐷
Someone watching this in far future – the innocent beginnings of the nightmare.
They will be great soldiers.

There's a short story by Harlan Ellison titled "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream" Written in 1967. About a computer that becomes sentient and despises the human race for creating it..

When ai becomes self aware and skynet takes over hockey stick guy will be the first to go
Another "Black Mirror" episode coming true and becoming reality … ☠️☠️☠️
i think all of Boston dynamics employees should watch the animatrix, second renaissance part 1 and 2
The chicken lol
DETROIT BECOME HUMAN
BEWARE!!! THESE ROBOTS WILL B UR NEW POLICE FORCE & MILITARY. STOP ROBOTS FROM TAKING R JOBS.
Imagine 2017 being 5 years ago…
It's all fun and games until somebody mounts a machine gun on one.
