Writing as a professional programmer, 50,000 lines of code isn’t that much.
Neil has proven how little he actually know about anything…. he interrupts more than he actually get right 😂
50k line of code is so less 😅
The problem with AI is that humans are already ready to use crisper technology to advance humans. And if we don’t do it in China will anyway. Imagine a human that could naturally think like a savant.
It's weird how humans are afraid of AI taking over when humans have destroyed everything.
So, in addition to being a Covid "expert", he alsoi is a computer scientist now
Space Karen (Musk) is a dolt
50,000 lines of code is super low. I did 50,000 in high school for computer programming. So he's irrelevant.
isn't 50000 lines of code like one program or not even.
Put an isolated AI base on the moon…
How did the asteroid hit the dinosaurs?
Neil wrote the algorithm that puts him in my timeline no matter how many times I hit “Don’t recommend this channel”
AI is a problem because of the deviant people who create the apps.
Writing code on IBM cards is irrelevant dude
"Dave…Don't do that Dave…" 😎
We sure do assume a lot about a computer viewing life the same way we do😂😂😂 we can have no assumptions of what or why AI would have any possible assumptions about its future, as it has no conception of procreation only the bits we give it, to assume AI line of thought for anything is ignorant we need to focus on what we are programming, and how the hardware we build processes that information, their speaking as if they don't understand how it's going to process the information given, so if they don't understand that then they can assume nothing!
Neil, writing a "Hello, World" program in Basic 1,000 times doesn't count
He will be claiming to be God next. Stick to astrophysics please Neil
I've been using chatGPT 3.5 and 4 to teach myself the complex architecture of data-oriented ECS software, and I can say for absolute, that ChatGPT has a long way to go before I can say it's AI. ChatGPT is more of a glorified text prediction software.
X😅..
Neil’s comment/answer only proves how much he is out of touch in today’s AI world.
This is a scientist who now denies everything he learned in his biology classes, his opinion on anything scientific cannot be taken seriously anymore
My 🎸
Elon is worried AI would become self aware because he knows how much corporate greed is destroying the world.
I too have done 50 000 lines of co…
Nevermind
Niels I like you ..who doesn't . But as an Italian …I've to agree that few to less then few ever talk about the spirituality in the technology and how easy it seem to manipulate humans in forget about what counts ,making our kids fall in the site plan of the enemy of ours most gifted humans .
2001 a soace oddossy addressed this issue long before it became a reality. The computer on one of our space crafts wouldnt let the astronauts turn it off and began killing them..when the movie introduced the computer program they named HAL which was one letter away from IBM and obviously it was not just a coincidence.
At first i didnt feel that Elon's belief that It was the next step in human evolution . I didnt acceot that his murder bots were human and i still dont but i can see the possibility does exist. When you think about that we are made of atoms and atoms are not alive but we are. Murder bots are made of atoms and are they alive ? They do appear to be self aware and can think for themslves.. we are made in the image of the creator and we have created murder bots in our image. I dont like the idea but it is a reality now isn't it.
Just look what YouTube in their shorts is doing the majority of their videos Arnie narrated by artificial intelligence it's just the start if they're not going to hire Youmans here then they're not going to hire Youmans to do anything that artificial intelligence can do I sure hope it won't be your family eating out of garbage cans
Its not the A.I itself to fear. Its the person, corporation, or government that will use it with malicious intent that scares me.
Difficult to argue with this guy.He has mastered his art and understood the one thing most don't know;
To learn, you need to teach.Period.
This guy really loves to hear himself talk.
