The system would not seem like a lot: a caterpillar-sized meeting of metallic rings and strips resembling one thing you may discover …

Was John Belushi ever a sperm donor?
So, we need optimus prime
you did all that for that piece of shit,,! just kidding, looks ace! just wanned to allways say that 😉 go MIT go go go!
All smart pepols are ugly
Idiot
A nice sequel to the electronic sand-modules creation. Well done. 🙂
When does Megatron happen?
Very neat!
Jimmy Neutron anyone? anyone?
Keep it up.
I'm worried about aplications…
THE DIAMOND AGE
Бля, это же Мартиросян)))
Или Каспаров? Хмхмхм
@lclayld g yep. i am damn lucky to join this web site. And, my step mom used to receive an amount every month for taking some tests and surfing web. its worth a try here <<< bit.ly/Ut8OrH?=jgsgrjl
so. they couldnt find something that just worked easily. SO THEY INVENTED A NEW FUCKING MOTOR.
i will never get accepted to mit.
While a cycloidal drive is really neat, it wouldn't work in this application. The part has to rotate both left and right, but a cycloidal drive only multiplies the force in one direction. Sure, you could add two drives and an anti-reverse mechanism to them but that might make the object larger than the 1cm limit.
when you try to do science, you might just accidentally do science
When you money is from DARPA, don't expect the world to benefit from it. Come on, their website is DARPA dot mil Surely, you know this. Unfortunately, science is a whore for the funding. All of these things are eventually used against us – with a few bones thrown to the dogs such as benefits for the paralyzed, etc. That's just a front.
If you knew about what was kept in secret – such as the real Space Command – you, too, might see the rest as just bones. Not the Internet, of course – but then, that wasn't meant to get out of their hands, if you recall its history. Was never intended for us.
As much as I hate the fact they will use this against us I can't help but to love technology come on GO Gundam! lol
Well I don't think I'd count Siri, he already mentioned the internet, and GPS for military applications is much higher resolution than we get to drive our cars. Next?
YAYA
thats cool
Cool
Cutting edge high tech stuff with 80's documentary intro music.
Well there wasn't really much choice, if shit you need doesn't exist you either a) have to abandon the project or b) make the parts you need yourself. Isn't exclusively MIT thing.
Oh god its the begining of the replicator's as in stargate
YEAH SCIENCE
yeah….i got that. the point was that it was impressive they were able to do it…
what are you trying to say?
how to move his head?
absolutely fantastic!!! now if only you could invent something that doesn't break… sorry to rush you… (smile)… :-}
It will probably work with longer chains in microgravity ! In fact you could fold 1000 segments into a cube-sat !!
Inventing something and discovering another. Welcome to engineering everyone!
John Belushi's clone?
When are we having Mamagoose Ara?
amazing!!!
that is how true science is supposed to be.
but dont be so hard on yourself, inventing is easier than you think 🙂 it's all about the drive to want to!.
absolutely fantastic
NERD!
You guys are awesome. Thanx.
UFO Hunters
The first thing that came to mind watching this was Flowstone… all hail Yawgmoth.
what happen to this?
