On this video, I sat down with Ryan Doan, an ex-Amazon Machine Studying Engineer and the creator of MLExpert, to speak about …

The next thing is Webexpert, right?
Hi Clement, reveal books which you learned 6 months coding time
Hi clement i had a question is it possible to be a software eng for google but not physically be around there.
I don't want to be a Software Engineer please I'm begging you don't show me the algoexpert ad . I watch this ad 5-10 time daily. I hate programming.
Hey, wanna buy an AlgoExpert sub and looking for a promo code if anybody has any 🙂
I just realised the promo codes are case-sensitive. I think it is better practice to make them case incensitive as most promo codes are usually uppercase, I was failing to use CLEM as the promo code.
Hey Ryan or Clement or both lol! quick question. If you had to place these in certain categories for their specific uses/what each one excels at, what categories would you put each of these machine learning frameworks/tool kits (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, mxnet, and Hugging Face) in?
what a waste of time. this a conversation for 3 year olds?
Ryan looks like the nerdest serial killer.
amazon pip
Lovely guy.
I think I heard the word "heuristic" more times in this video than in the rest of my life combined.
Clement your doing the lord's work awesome stuff. Also can you give us a bio video about you.
Dr Strange 2.0
Thank you for the clarification!
ml is so fun, i got into it this year and its the best thing iv ever done. I will admit it took a lot of 'background learning' before I got to building models, but still the best thing iv ever done! I recc FastAI if anyone is interested!
bro im really desperate to learn Python. im trying so much. I like the way you explain things. Please start posting tutorials na.
smashing the like, subscribe and bell button for you!!
tutorials please!!
How to go to Youtube ?
a word of warning to watchers: you will find that times are rapidly changing, and although in most cases advanced degrees aren't *required*, they are preferred. just as simply earning a bachelor's was enough of an advantage over high school grads 40 years back, so many people hold a bachelor's that advanced degree holders have an advantage. actually, the field is so competitive that even holding a master's/phd can still be met with a lot of boundaries in getting a job.
Please, make a video if you can become an ML Engineer without any degree.
Guy sounds like Grant Sanderson. Plot twist… It's Grant Sanderson, but with a neural network is changing his appearance in real time.
What an amazing video. Definitely going to check out that website.
He talks so simple and clear. Great interview. Thanks
I really hope Ryan starts a machine learning podcast or something. Its something I can pay for.
that wass awesome!!!!
just rewatch again and again an agian, really he did explain well.
Excellent interview thank you!
Ryan Doan = If Doctor Strange was a super nerdy ML Engineer.
Well Im stumped right now. I have years of experience from my engineering career–I want to switch to the ML career. But I know that my experience from my previous career might not be transferrable in its entirety. So I am assuming I will reset my experience level to zero when I switch. Most companies these days explicitly specify they need at least 2 years experience for prospective hires….how then could my zero ML experience despite my years of experience from my previous career help me find a decent ML job??
great interview! helped me a lot to gain insight! thanks guys top work
not me getting an algoexpert ad in-between the video
This has to be 3Blue1Brown
Maybe the ML engineers at Spotify need to take the MLExpert courses?

I am seeing this video today which is posted exactly a year ago
I want to be able to DELETE movies from the Netflix interface. 😢
wow.. great interview, GREAT questions .. Thank you guys <3
Thank you Clement. We need more interviews with ML engineers in your channel.
beast😤
TLDR: His/Her Job!!! Bada Bim Bada Boom!!!
Thank you for this video. I didn't really understand the difference between what a data scientist does and what a machine learning engineer does. Based on what you defined it seemed like one and the same. am I wrong?
Hi, I have a question. I am currently doing a master in mathematics with a focus on ML and statistics, but mostly theoretical. How could I transition to becoming an ML engineer. Is it enough to learn how to implement these models in Python or is there something else?
This video was actually quite informative and interesting. I came here to skim through the video to just get a general understanding of what the heck an ML engineer even is, but I ended up watching everything. I'm still confused on job titles that go by "Software Engineer, Machine Learning" and what makes that different from "Machine Learning Engineer".
Ryan sounds so familiar to the voice over of 1blue3brown.
Hi Clement, can you help me find job as a Machine learning Engineer, I have 3 years of experience and I have done many projects, I am fluent at both the mathematical and programming aspects. Thanks
Thank you so much!
My main takeaway is you DON'T need a master's or a PhD degree to switch career if you really try!
Great interview! Good questions asked.
