video is 480p resolution … no HD ?
Thanks for the info, are there any languages and software packages that you think would be most useful to learn for someone considering getting into the programming side of robotics?
really great video, thank you! id like to ask, is the field competitive and/or is it difficult to get a job with a robotics engineering degree in your opinion?
Great and helpful video! Can you suggest some companies that are research based robotics. And how can I get into those without any prior experience?
Subbed 🙂
The complexity is what I find attractive. It seems you can micro manage and macro manage. What you do at a smaller scale has to be congruent with the whole system at the larger scale. It becomes a choreography where a dancer has to be in unison with the other dancers. Everyone has a specific role. It's not quite a chorus where everybody is moving in the same fashion.
I could never find the trades attractive enough, though I have no problem collaborating with them. I find that many to be decent hard workers. With engineering you get a pallet, some are narcissistic, standoffish and others just fine. I consider myself an in the middle type of person, between being a technician and an engineer. Add research on the side where i like finding novel ways of doing things and learning about the material world.
Hey Liz. I have a lot of questions. Can I follow you on LinkedIn
I'm a Robotics and automation engineer
Thank you for sharing!
The pay?
