I follow and subscribe most of the sites you promote. They as you help paint a complete picture of events
What you all have in common is your enthusiasm. It's infectious π . I hope you holidays have been stress free and enjoyable mate? Keep up your great work and all the best for your futuresπ
It would be fantastic to see the telemetry data that falcon uses and a run down of the guidance computers protocols.? Combined with visuals from the booster flight. Kinda like what the booster actually "sees" how the "brain" works. But I guess that's the sort of secret you could tell me "but you'd have to β¦."
"Sometimes, bigger is not always better" she saidβ¦β¦β¦β¦β¦..
Because it's a dumbass design that's DOA. It's a blackhole for investor money (just like every other Elon Musk venture), because the company otherwise would fold if it didn't have something faux-futuristic to keep investors hooked.
Because it's bad design
Hey, hey Marcus!
I am following your content for years now and it feels like you and your content has become part of my family meanwhile. I very much appreciate what you do and the way you deliver the spaceflight news.
To be honest, the reason why I am writing this is a concern. You need sponsoring for what you do and I am supporting your channel by handling this and by tipping you every now and then. That is fine. However today I was a bit disappointed for the very first time. I definitely do not like minutes of video runtime spent on a game (Kerbal)! This β for me is areal bummer. I believe that gaming should be something for a different channel or at least a different video than your weekly update. More of that may lead into me refraining from using your videos as my primary source for Boca Chica updates. No matter if you are paid for this or you just think it is part of what the space-nerd community is interested in. At least: I am not.
However I wish to thank you once again for the incredible work you deliver each and every week. I am looking forward to what is yet to came. Hope my comment works as a tiny little help for you on how you want to present your fabulous content in the future.
All my best wishes for 2024.

I'm not religious at all, so praying doesn't work for me, but I believe in Elon Musk and his mission to Mars.ππ°π½
Dream Chaser is planning to launch in the first half of 2024 β but don't forget that they have chosen for a launch by ULA's Vulcan Centaur which has never launched before and which recently had to be redesigned after exploding during a test fire! And even if the redesign of the Vulcan Centaur has sorted out the structural problems, the rocket uses Blue Origin's BE4 engine which also exploded after a test fire this summer. Good luck Dream Chaser! I hope you have some reserve Dream Chaser's stored in your factory!!!
Danke!
Because starship is a piece of junk. Funny how SaturnV was able to launch every time easily. Did we even really go to the moon? Iβd like them to rebuild a SaturnV just to prove it. Thereβs nothing harder than trying to defend space exploration when modern space travel seems to be behind where we were in the 60s
Starship will never be a success, unless a major rework is done, or they go back to the drawing board and start completely over. Mark my words.
But how long will Elon Musk take to align with the idea that doing it all on the Moon first is preferable? From both an EA and an engineering POV it's reasonable to measure the colonization of the Moon as the natural testing ground of any colonization of Mars⦠There's little reason to expect short the delay until becomes counterproductive to the end of colonizing Mars, to further suspend exclusive effort towards it that doesn't factor in the test project of colonizing the Moon.
The Apollo Mission did the first batch of iterations. The next phase isn't the colonization of Mars, it's the colonization of the Moon over an astonishingly stretching period during which time spent on effectively colonizing the Moon returns disproportionate benefits of know-how and speed should the time ultimately come to succeed in a colonization of Mars. The Moon is meanwhile the plenipotentiary ambassador of Mars for all that regards human colonization.
3 contiguous letters of *[Moon]* in *El[on M]usk* and a salient shadow of *[Mars] in *Elon [M§s]k* , as well as the SUN in eloN mUSk. But nothing beyond single E in common with the name of Earth or Terra. What further Omens of Destiny could we read off his name?
do you post your videos to X?
its because testing is what matters with material asset wealth and because FSD LIVES
Nice
Because they have more dollars than sense.
It might need a mount . π€ Like a motor mount between the booster & starship . The booster is like the engine . Connected w/o motor mounts to the vehicle.. π₯Έ ?
Separation method ? Caused static start problem π€ after all this time ? Who can see from hereβ¦
Because they are racing somewhere when the can also slowly fly out of gravity itself . The friction causes a static fire . Same as roughspots and burn marks when confusing jackhammering with true Love ππ₯°π₯°π«‘π€©β€οΈ&Light.π
Do you think you will be sharing your Chanel on rumble in the futureβ¦ distancing myself from YouTube in the future π
Hi Marcus house thanks for an excellent π year of reporting all of the space news it been great π and so has this video shame of the booster falling over in the wind π¨ must have been very windy and we in Britain π¬π§ have had a lot of wind even blowing some roofs of all the best for 2024 you and your family and team looking π forward to seeing your new videos in the new year David ππβ€οΈπ¬π§π
I think Jeff should have to ride on the abort system test before this thing is certified for human passengers. I like my head attached in an emergency.
What substance will expand to lowest density providing specific impulse without needing to burn fuel and oxiduzer igniting and burning??
"Why is Starship still getting damaged by a static fire?" β because it is a silly concept.
Perhaps they should fire it higher off the ground to avoid a harsh rebound shockwave in the engine
